Some projects take longer than others. Since the first attempts customizing h0 slot cars about ten years past. The Porsche 956 and 962 was on the top of the list at the time. The three 24h Le Mans 1982 winners never materialized until now. Three TYCO 956 bodies had been patiently sitting in a case waiting for the treatment. Eventually all three were painted, detailed and decaled to resemble the trinity of Porsches biggest success in Le Mans.

Even thou the TYCO Porsche 956 seemed to be the nicer version of the model; today the AFX appears the better model. The TYCO sits a little to high and therefore lacks some of the elegance of the original. The desire to customize more Porsche 956 has subsided. Otherwise the custom Porsche by Gary Fast would be the choice. His version of the 956 is spot on!
