Porsche 911 S Team Jean Egreteaud 24h Le Mans 1970 #59

One more 911 S from the 24h Le Mans 1970. This time the #59 by Team Jean Egreteaud. This was the first of the 911 S from the race to attract my attention. The deep green body with a red hood and bumpers, and the yellow accent window trim shows a very special color combination. Not sure if it was chosen or happened by accident. Maybe because there was no other color around and saving money for more important issues was a priority. Whatever was the reason, this car still is amongst my favorites. There was not much information on the team available. Pictures of the car are scarce. With the help of Matthias Pohl most sponsors could be to reproduce.
